- At the 2017 Sonatina/Sonata Festival of the Richland County Chapter of OhioMTA, eight students received Gold Medals. These students are:
Claire Lehman received Silver Medal.
- All ten students received Unanimous Superior Ratings (the highest rating) at the 2017 Junior Piano Festival of Ohio Federation of Music Clubs District IV B at Ashland University on Saturday, March 11. Because of their three-year consecutive Superior rating, seven students were invited to play at the Honors Recital Saturday afternoon. Meiyan Timberlake was the Junior Pledge leader and Cheyenne van Langevelde was the Junior Hymn accompanist for the event. The ten students are: Ava and Emily Ghazarian, Cheyenne van Langevelde, Eleane and Jason Lin, Meiyan Timberlake, Andrew Xiao;
- Stuart Cox received the Richard W. Strasburg Scholarship to study a B. A. degree double majoring in Piano Performance and Computer Science at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, OH.
- 10-year-old Ava Ghazarian performed Chopin's Etude, op. 10 no. 5, "Black Key" at the 2017 Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Piano Master Class at the Graves Piano & Organ Company Recital Hall in Columbus, OH. Ava was the youngest student to participate in this hallmark event of the Central East District of Ohio Music Teachers Association.
2016 Studio Achievements:
- 9-year-old Eleane Lin was nominated for the Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) Gifted Identification Process of the Ontario Local Schools. Based on the assessment results meeting the state of Ohio criteria, Eleane was identified as gifted in the instrumental (piano) music
- All eight students won Gold Medals at the 2016 Sonatina/Sonata Festival of the Richland County Chapter of OhioMTA. These students are Stuart Cox. Ava Ghazarian, Emily Ghazarian, Eleanor Judd, Cheyenne van Langevelde, Eleane Lin, Meiyan Timberlake, Andrew Xiao.
- Eight students received Gold Cups from OFMC Junior Festival for their three-year consecutive Superior Ratings of the Piano Solo Events. These students are: Ava Ghazarian, Emily Ghazarian, Cheyenne van Langevelde, Eleane Lin, Jason Lin, Tracy Lin, Meiyan Timberlake, and Andrew Xiao.
- Eleanor Judd received a Music Merit Award to attend the Conservatory of Music of Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL, west of Chicago. She will pursue a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance in Fall of 2016.
- Jiamo Zhang won Honorable Mention (no First-Prize winner) in the Young Artist Solo Division of the 2016 OhioMTA/Graves Piano Solo & Ensemble Competition. A statement from the Competition Chairperson:
- Ava Ghazarian won Honorable Mention in the Elementary Solo Division of the 2016 OhioMTA/Graves Piano Solo & Ensemble Competition.
- Emily and Ava Ghazarian were interviewed by the Mansfield News Journal and appeared on the front page of the Lifestyle section in the article, "Pianists Show Skills Beyond Their Years," written by reporter Courtney Day of the News Journal on February 16, 2016.
- Ava Ghazarian played L' Alouette (The Lark) by Mikhail Glinka-Mily Balakirev
2015 Studio Achievements:
- 11 students participated in the 2015 Ribbon Festival organized by the Richland County Chapter of OhioMTA on December 5.
1st Year: Andrew Meyer

- Eleanor Judd received the 2015 OhioMTA Scholarship Fund of $200 and the CEOMTA Summer Music Study Scholarship,
"Music-Go-Round Scholarship" of $150 in March.
- Ava Ghazarian won Third Place at the Elementary Solo Division of the 2015 OhioMTA/Graves Piano Solo and Ensemble Competition in Columbus.
- Tracy Lin and Jason Lin received Honorable Mention at the Senior Duet Division of the 2015 OhioMTA/Graves Piano Solo and Ensemble Competition.
- All eight students received Gold Medals at the 2015 Sonatina/Sonata Festival by Richland County Chapter of OhioMTA in May. These students are Stuart Cox, Emily Ghazarian, Eleanor Judd, Cheyenne van Langevelde, Eleane Lin, Jason Lin, Gracie Pfieffer, and Andrew Xiao.
- All thirteen students received the Unanimous Superior Ratings in the Piano Solo Event of the OFMC Junior Festivals on March 14. These students are Eleane Lin (Primary Class II), Ava Ghazarian and Gracie Pfieffer (Elementary Class IV), Stuart Cox and Cheyenne van Langevelde (Moderately Difficult Class I), Olivia Togliatti and Andrew Xiao (Moderately Difficult Class II), Meiyan Timberlake (Moderately Difficult Class III), Emily Ghazarian and Jason Lin (Difficult Class I), Claire Phillips (Difficult Class II), Eleanor Judd and Tracy Lin (Musically Advanced Class I). In addition, Claire Phillips received the Excellent Rating in the Senior Class Piano Concerto Event.
- Claire Phillips was invited to perform at the OFMC District IV B Student Honors Recital in Ashland, OH on March 14.
- Tracy Lin and Jason Lin received Honorable Mention at the Senior Duet Division of the 2015 OhioMTA/Graves Piano Solo and Ensemble Competition.
- Ava Ghazarian played Mozart's Fantasy in D minor, K. 397 at the Piano Master Class offered by the Central East District of Ohio Music Teachers Association in Columbus on January 19, (Martin Luther King Jr. Day), 2015.
